In the early morning of September 6, with the completion of the last concrete pouring, the continuous beam Form Traveller System of the Karot Hydropower Station bridge in Pakistan built by Shandong Tongyao Heavy Industry Technology Co., Ltd. successfully completed the construction of the middle span closure.
The bridge is located in Azad Patan district, 16 km upstream of Karot Dam, across the Jhelum boundary river in Punjab and AJ&K district of Pakistan. It is the second bridge in the construction process of Karot hydropower Station, with a design length of 200 meters. The bridge is the first bridge constructed by our company in the Pakistani regional market using the hanging basket construction method, which fills a gap for Shandong Tongyao Heavy Industry Company in the Pakistani market. Through the unremitting efforts of the science and technology research team of the project department, the problems of complex design structure and difficult construction have been solved, and the science and technology research in the construction process has been completed.
